多位华人学者入选！2024年英国皇家学会院士名单揭晓

当地时间2024年5月16日，英国皇家学会公布了新当选的院士名单。牛津大学路德维希癌症研究所教授施扬与伦敦帝国理工学院教授张晓东教授当选院士。中国科学院院士潘建伟当选外籍院士。

每年，英国皇家学会院士根据“在自然知识的提高方面，包括数学、工程科学和医学科学方面做出的重大贡献”，最多选举52名新院士和10名新外籍院士。

施扬长期从事表观遗传学以及染色质生物学研究。

张晓东，1997年加入英国帝国癌症研究基金会，担任博士后研究员。2001年，她成为伦敦帝国理工学院讲师，2008年成为大分子结构与功能学教授。2011年至2014年间，她担任帝国理工学院结构生物学中心主任。2014年，她开始在伦敦帝国理工学院医学院帮助建立结构生物学科，该科促进并整合伦敦帝国理学院的结构生物学和医学研究。

潘建伟主要从事量子光学、量子信息和量子力学基础问题检验等方面的研究。
